Mit Winetricks hat man die Möglichkeit verschiedene Runtimes schnell und einfach unter Wine zu installieren. Zu dem enthält das Script zahlreiche Downloads.

Eine übersichtliche GUI mit allen anwählbaren Optionen erhaltet ihr, wenn ihr das Script startet:

winetricks

Daneben könnt ihr natürlich auch die Kommandos direkt von der Konsole aus angeben. Zum Beispiel:

winetricks vcrun2015

Falls ihr die 32bit-Variante der Bibliothek benötigt, müsst ihr den WINE-Prefix zuvor mit 

WINEARCH=win32 winecfg

anlegen. Dieser Parameter ist nachträglich nicht mehr für einen WINE_PREFIX änderbar.

Mit Winetricks lassen sich einerseits Programmteile herunterladen (z.B. Schriftarten, oder Installationspakete) aber auch die Wine-Konfiguration anpassen.
