Total War: Rome 2 soll für Linux kommen. So sagen es die Entwickler:

We’ve certainly got no worries about Linux as a platform, and as you know, we’ve appeared on the SteamOS page, and our intention is absolutely to support the OS.

Stand 2021

Es ist wohl sicher, dass es zu keinen nativen Port mehr kommen wird. Allerdings funktioniert das Spiel mit Proton auch nicht wirklich zufriedenstellend.
